The Ullman Sails Inshore Championship Series dates are set.  This is a series of races in Southern California to determine the best of the best.  It includes all the big regattas from Marina del Ray to San Diego with two stops in between at Newport Beach and Long Beach..  The regatta dates are

Ahmanson in Newport Beach
April 17-18

Yachting Cup in San Diego
May 1-2

Cal RW in Marina del Ray
June 5-6

Ullman Sails Long Beach Race Week in Long Beach
June 25-27

The perpetual trophies for this event are the historic 470 World Championship trophies won by Dave Ullman.  The winner of each fleet for the series gets their names engraved on these coveted sailing prizes.

In the past there have been 3 fleets competing for this event, the Fast 50, Fast 40, and Sportboat.
This year Ullman Sails is adding more fleets.  Event organizers will be meeting on the 3rd week of November to finalize all the details of this event.

If you have not competed in this series before this is a great year to start.  This years event will be promoted more and most likely have a better turn out.  Last year was a great success with hundreds of boats competing over the 4 regatta series.
