Sperry Top-Sider Seattle NOOD Regatta:
Black Sheep and Nonsense leading the way

The conditions were near perfect for the Sperry Top-Sider NOOD regatta held in Seattle on May 14th-16th.  With 14 races completed on all the classes that sailed 3 days this was an endurance test for some.  The one design regattas 3rd year in Seattle had 170 boats participating and it was at least two classes Championship regatta including the San Juan 24 North American Championship where Gil Lund and his crew won their second North American title on Snappy Tom.  They won their class by 12 points.  Gil used his Ullman Sails GPL Carbon Main and Genoa, the same combination that he used to win his previous North American Championships in the San Juan 24.

In the Santana 20’s they had very tight racing with Steve Orsini and crew on Inferno taking first with their Ullman Sails Santana 20 inventory.  Steve has been at the top of the Northwest Santana 20 fleet for many years.  In the more modern 20 boats like the Ultimate 20 Black Sheep easily won their class by 14 points and winning 8 of the 14 races.
The Thunderbirds also came to enjoy the near perfect racing and a few of the vetrans took the medal spots with Craig Burnell taking first by 19 points over 2nd.  Marty Godsil was in 3rd .  Both boats has full inventories of Ullman Sails.
Out of all the fleets that had Ullman Sails, the sails won all but one fleet.  When you want to win and want the best Ullman Sails is the answer.
