Tropical Night Near the equator on Lake Union

A perfetct night on Seattle's Lake Union for the famouse "Tropical Night" sponsored by Ullman Sails, Marine Servicecenter, and 48 North.  With tempratures near 80 and 8 knots of wind it could not have been better.  The leward mark of the course is an island complete with a Tiki Hut, palm trees, and beer that is handed out to competitors as they head past.

This is a long time tradition in the Seattle area and is one of the best attended races in the northwest with over 100 boarts from Formula 40 catamarans and a One Design 48 to Lasers and everything in between.
