Offshore Cruising Seminar Recap From the September BBQ

Thank you to all Cruisers and Baja Ha-Ha sailors who attended our BBQ and Offshore Sailing seminar last week! We had a great turnout that filled the house. Ullman Sails San Diego in collaboration with Pacific Offshore Rigging to put on the event on September 30th, hosting a free BBQ and Offshore Sailing Seminar. If you were unable to attend this spectacular event make sure not to miss the next one!

The BBQ was fired up at 4:30pm alongside an arrangement of hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Special thanks to Mission Brewery for donating a keg of their delicious beer! Check them out at www.missionbrewery.com

After dinner was served the crowd gathered upstairs in the Ullman Sails San Diego Loft for a presentation by Captain Stephen Mann. Stephen is a professional rigger and 500 Ton U.S.C.G. Master with 350,000 offshore miles under his belt who has also taken dozens of trips up and down Baja. He spoke about the preparation, safety and rigging required to sail down Baja and shared great informative stories. Stephen has circumnavigated the globe in an 8 month time frame.

After the presentation there were an abundance of door prizes including an Ullman Sails repair kit. These repair kits are available at the loft if your luck did not win you one at the party!

Food, Drink, Stephen and Prizes. Don't miss the next Ullman Sails San Diego and Pacific Offshore Rigging Event!
