TRIAK Expedition Sailing Trimaran Kayaks in the Sea of Cortez

TRIAKsports will be sponsoring 3 renowned and accomplished explorers for a 30-45 day adventure through the Sea of Cortez. The team will be composed of Tyler Bradt, Erik Boomer and Sarah McNair, who have a long list of impressive and extreme expeditions between the three of them.

The expedition will be completely documented to give a glimpse into the seas abundant marine life, beautiful coastline, opportunities for high adventure as well as to provide insights into the teams unique characters... This will be a multi-faceted expedition where the team will be utilizing the prevailing Northerly winds as they sail their TRIAKs as much as possible, with Ullman Sails of course, fish for food, explore islands, and kite board along the way. The journey is 450 miles and is one of the most ambitious of all sea kayaking routes. Stay tuned to TRIAKsports for more info as the journey embarks this month!

The new sails have been tested on the TRIAK and perform great! Here are some photos of the practice day in La Playa with a nice breeze!
