Point Loma Yacht Club Big Boat Charity Race Sponsored by Ullman Sails August 18th

This great annual event raises funds for Challenged America in San Diego. The race begins at 12 noon and is followed at 3:00pm by an Open House and silent auction with great prizes from Ullman Sails, Driscoll Boat Works as well as local restaurants.

Challenged America Provides Sailing experiences in specially equipped boats “… to further rehabilitation , enhance life experiences, and foster the competitive spirit of youth and adults with disabilities toward successful mainstream outcomes.” Ullman Sails continues to support local and national charities through sponsorship of events like this.  Giving back to the community is just one thing that makes us better.
