Billed as the largest boat show on the west coast the Seattle Boat Show was held at Quest Field Convention Center in downtown Seattle. With the Economy showing signs of strain the attendance at the show was only slightly lighter than last year. Ullman Sails had a presence at the Convention Center and on the water with our close affiliation to Marine Service Center the largest brokerage of sailboats in Seattle.

The Northwest Representatives working the show were Jon Thompson(Tacoma and South Puget Sound), Jeff Carson(Seattle and North Puget Sound) and Brad Urie (British Columbia) along with Chuck Skewes and Kathy O’brien (San Diego). Ullman Sails was offering the Custom Axis Laminate Sails, A great alternative to Dacron on performance cruisers and roller furling genoas. These sails are the same price as Dacron but offer a lot more for the avid sailor.
The usual Seattle weather held off to allow people to see the boats on the water and take in the city views with the snow capped mountains in the background. The show was a great success and Ullman Sails will be displaying again next year. Ullman Sails has grown 30% over the last year and 60% over the year before. It appears that more sailors are learning the secret to performance, durability and value.
