Cabrillo Series dominated by Ullman Sails
Eclipse the CM 1200sailing by Point Loma

Southwestern Yacht Club in San Diego host the Annual Cabrillo Series.

In perfect San Diego conditions 70 degrees and 12 knots of wind  Southwestern Yacht Club hosted the last of the Cabrillo Series.  This is a medium distance race series consisting of 4 races outside San Diego Bay from 17 to 45 miles.  This series is over 20 years old and has been well attended.  This final race of the series was a 17 mile race of two triangles off of the scenic Coronado Island and Point Loma.

Staghound the R/P 50 was the 1 Class and overall winner in this years Cabrillo 4 taking the four race series as well.  Alec Oberschmidt and boat have been on the Ullman Team for years and have shown the way around the course to their competition for most of it.  It appears that he is on his way to another dominate year.

In class 2 Eclipse was the winner of the Cabrillo Series with a 100% Ullman Sails inventory as well.  Eclipse owned and raced by Tim and Karen Batcher have been long time competitors in San Diego.  Ullman Sails would like to congratulate the winners of the 2 biggest classes in the Cabrillo Series.
