Chris Winnard Joins the Ullman Sails Team! He will be Managing the Seattle facility for Ullman Sails and the lead sales contact for the Northwest.  The new office location is at 2370 Fairview Ave E Seattle WA,  98102

Chris started sailing at an early age primarily cruising in England, Europe and the Caribbean. In 1980 his family moved to San Diego where he caught the racing bug and began to actively campaign a Santana 20 out of Coronado Yacht Club. He crewed and skippered on many boats in the IOR, MORC and PHRF fleets gaining notoriety for his helming and tactical skills.
Chris began his career as a sail consultant in 1990 for a loft in San Diego. He continued to race regionally also raced in Europe winning class at Cowes Week in the U.K. and fourth at the X-99 Worlds in Germany.
In 1999 Chris and his wife Marilyn moved to Seattle (he missed the English weather?!). He continued to work as a sail consultant and has won many of the major events in the Northwest. This year he decided to join the Ullman Sails team and head up the Seattle sales and service loft. He brings an extensive knowledge of sails and deck/rig  hardware to our team and a friendly face to the local sailmaking scene.
