Melges Race Week Ullman Sails takes it all
Ullman Sails Melge 24

The first annual Melges Race Week at San Diego Yacht Club in San Diego had a 13 boat fleet with sailors from as far away as Salt Lake City.  The event was held in the flat waters of South Bay and had a wide variety of conditions from 8-20knots of wind.  Eight races were sailed with the windiest on Sunday.

One boat out of the fleet had Ullman Sails.  This would prove to be the smartest move in the fleet.  Andy Rasdal won the event by 3 points never scoring below a 4th place and wining 2 of the races.  Andy Rasdal on Valkyrie gave the credit to his great boat speed over the ranges.  For more about winning in the Melges 24 fleet contact Ullman Sails.
