Ullman Sails Offshore Cruising Here is a letter from a satisfied cruiser.

Dear Chuck, Kathy, Charlie, and Andrew,

I am in American Samoa now, I came here non-stop from San Diego. It was a wonderful shake-down - both for the boot and for me. I saw one shale, one shark, many dolphin, flying fish, and birds. The trip took 58 days and I traveled about 5000 miles. I changes my plan to stop in Tahiti because I was in a gale when I was close to Tahiti and needed to thru unto wind to get there, so I decided to sur with the gale and stop here instead, when I got close to American Samoa, I had to leave to nearby and wait 5 days for one gale and many rain squalls (or Live Squalls) to pass so I could see the  entrance, My Out boat motor wouldn’t start so I sailed into the anchorage and dropped my anchor for the first time.

Your sails performed very well for me I spent only about 7 days with both sails fully up. I used the reefed jif for about 80% of the trip, and the single - reefed main and the double reefed main about 50% of the time each. There were 8 gales with winds over 40 and 5 of them lasted 3 days each. It seemed I was always trying to slow the boat down, It is partly due to an easily Driven hull, and partly due to my old age and dislike of adrenaline rushes.

Thanks to you all for helping me.
